IKEA, The Book

I’m surprised it took this long for a book like this to get published. But now it’s here.

The furniture super store has taken iconic Scandinavian design and sent it all over the world. So much that I go to IKEA in Portland when I’m having a Swedish craving. Some may argue that many of IKEA’s designs are pure knock offs of more impressive Swedish classics, but the store’s contribution to the design world is undeniable. No surprise that they wanted to devote a whole book to the artists and designers that have have helped take the business to a design superpower.

You can track it down here.
